Ron Paul v. Huckabee

September 5th, 2007 by Steve

Just watched the GOP debate. Despite the fact that “others” are calling Huckabee the winner of their verbal duel, Paul was right and the Internet will eventually vindicate my opinion. In the mean time, Paul missed his key point. When Huckabee brought up honor and the military, Ron Paul failed to mention which candidate active duty military donors support with their wallets. Just Google it.

We need a rational solution to get us out of the neo-con predicament we are in. There seems to be but one solution.

I’ll be flying in a few hours and won’t be able to keep up with my blogly duties for a few days. I should be able to provide a few good Ron Paul pictures over the weekend, though. Stay tuned.

Also, no one is mentioning, that by saying honor was important, was MH saying, honor is worth more lives? I think Ron Paul also said something to the effect of how many more lives,,,

30 minutes into the debate, and Ron Paul still hadn’t been asked a question. His screen time was absolutely controlled and kept to a minimum, which fired him up a bit. The condescending way that he was spoken to by Brit Hume was extremely irritating and FOX’s overall production of this event was horrible; I mean, cutting to a guy holding a brownie? C’mon man, this is the f*cking presidency we are talking about. America had desert and it’s time to get to work again, or else we may never eat again.

I agree. Fox would be happier if Ron Paul was not there. I bet they try to keep him out of the next one given tonight’s poll results in Ron Paul’s favor. FJH

Ron Paul schooled Mike “Governor Busybody” Huckabee tonight.

Speaking of honor, if Huckabee had any honor he would drop out of the race and stop embarrassing my state.

The only thing I wished Ron would have done was completely humiliate Goon-liani. What I mean is, when Rudy stated that the second amendment grants rights to the citizens Ron should have jumped at chance to correct Rudy. Namely, by stating that how can someone who is supposed to having placed their hand on the good book be able to adequately protect the Constitution if he/she doesn’t even conscientiously understand it’s true meaning and purpose.

Sorry, just hearing that fucker laugh every time Ron’s positions were posited by the commentators really irked me.

Ron used logic to refute Huckabee. I only wished he had followed it with another saying heard from everyone’s mother. “If your friend jumps off a bridge are your going to jump too?”
