Wolf Blitzer Interviews Ron Paul

October 4th, 2007 by Steve

Topics covered:

  • Polling (was cut off when he tried to mention that his name isn’t mentioned in some of the polls)
  • Fundraising
  • Why we all hate Giuliani
  • My rant from yesterday: the difference between non-interventionism and isolationism
  • Whether he’d run, or not, as a Libertarian Party candidate (no clear answer)
  • Potential support of Tom Tancredo (not very likely, as I expect Paul to be doing much better in the polls over the next couple of months as the advertising dough kicks in)

I like Wolf Blitzer. I’ve always found him to be pretty fair and thoughful with guests. He’s certainly worlds better than jackasses like Chris Matthews and Bill O’Reilly.

This is great to see all the media attention being given to Paul because of him raising $5.1 million. I wonder how many million’s this free advertising in the media is worth. Perhaps the mainstream media will start to see it as lucrative to give attention to Paul, as they may receive some millions from him in ad buys.

Ryan Brennan (ThirdPartyNews.net): In my humble opinion MSM has and will continue to ignore Paul as long as possible because MSM is controlled by the Council on Foreign Relations and the CFR knows that Ron Paul can’t be controlled by it. The CFR wants voters to have to choose between CFR Candidate A and CFR Candidate B. I hope that this time we will be able to vote for Non-CFR Candidate Ron Paul.
