Brian had a couple of interesting postings over at Flashpoint. In Three words: pot, kettle, black he chastised the president for chastising Democrats about spending. He also covered the stupidity of the National Intelligence Director telling telecoms they couldn’t comment about whether or not they violated peoples’ privacy (and the Constitution, as well) because it’s all a big government secret. It all boils down to this:
So, the companies told Congress, which is part of the federal government, that the federal government has prohibited it from telling the federal government what the federal government told them to do or not do. That makes perfect sense.
Additionally, a cow fell out of a livestock trailer on the parkway in Huntsville. While I’m sure it wasn’t a pretty sight, it’s certainly more pleasant than the hamburger the Republicans have made of the Bill of Rights (and the national budget).

Thanks for the kind, and wholly unwarranted (slight pun intended), words.
