Alabamian Featured in Ron Paul’s Supporter Spotlight

If you are from Alabama (or visit the state and host a national television program) and have seen all the Ron Paul signs, Austin Wilkes probably had something to do with it.  Austin is currently being featured in the Ron Paul campaign Support Spotlight.

Here’s a money quote from the 19 year-old University of Alabama student:

My generation is full of idealists. I realize that’s not unique to us, but when you couple it with the rampant cynicism towards politics in general and politicians in particular, the combination produces passionate energy devoted to making a difference in our country. We recognize that Dr. Paul is the first candidate in a couple of decades who is worth devoting our energy to. It’s a matter of the right man, with the right message, at the right time.
