SexToyTroy, Piggies and Political Cartoons

sextoytroy.jpgThree days ago, when I reported that Alabama Attorney General Troy King plans to ask the state legislature to toughen sex toy laws in the state, I never imagined how comical the issue might eventually become. My friend Loretta suggested that people should mail the AG some sex toys, but ultimately decided to mail him an inflatable sex pig. The story was picked up by the Mobile Press-Register.

J.D. Crowe, their editorial cartoonist, has captured the whole story with this comical cartoon.

When I first saw this a few hours ago I laughed so hard that I lost my breath, had tears streaming down my face and left a large bruise on my own leg from beating it. I also potentially ruptured my spleen.

I never dreamed that one day my antics would inspire a cartoon of Alabama Attorney General Troy King in a dominatrix outfit, looking at an inflatable pig provided by moi, and pointing out that he prefers donkey’s. J.D. Crowe even drew a dimple on Troy’s ass. And that poor little donkey all bandaged up…

The beauty of this gesture has my heart squealing with joy. If there’s anything I enjoy more than drawing uptight, arrogant authority figures in perverted attire, it’s drawing pigs. Any time I can shovel all my favorites into the same cartoon and still make some sort of editorial point is Birthday Cake Ice Cream. And since ToyBoy King has been in the news for allegedly targeting only Democrats for investigations, all this toon needed for a little smattering of significance was an abused inflatable donkey…excuse me while I lick the icing off my face.

I have never met Loretta or Troy, but I’m feeling a “Smell the Love” connection.
