On A Bob Barr Presidential Bid

There are rumors floating about that former congressman Bob Barr is considering a presidential bid on the Libertarian Party ticket.  I’m willing to bet a hundy that he isn’t.  Any takers?

   I hope Barr runs. It will tighten up the ties of the LP to the GOP, and firm up the image of the LP as an off-shoot of the Republican Party. (Which in reality it is.)

   Bob Barr is a slimy opportunist who’d sell out his grandmother to get back to the Rs at the earliest opportunity. He’s just biding his time in the LP, enjoying being a big fish in a small pond - but I’ll bet you big bucks that the moment the Rs dangle some little prize in front of his face, he’ll be out of the LP faster than you can say boo.
