Dodd Duds Out in New York

December 13th, 2007 by Steve

If this report is accurate, it looks like Chris Dodd can no longer be considered a serious presidential contender.

Senator Chris Dodd of Connecticut did not file to be on the New York Democratic presidential primary. 5,000 signatures are required for Democrats in New York. The six Democrats who did file in New York are Biden, Clinton, Edwards, Kucinich, Obama and Richardson.

Dodd’s no dummy. He got his last hurrah in yesterday. He did his rounds on the important politico shows. You could make the argument he got more press than the eventual LP candidate. I know, unless it’s . . .

Richardson missed a state too, I think. He’s running for VP.

Is being a carbon-based lifeform a requirement for getting on the ballot? That might explain it.
