12,000,000 quarterly goal reached at 1:05 ET. My capture was 12,000,468.00.

Honestly, I am worried about this one because it is on a Sunday. The NOV5 was on a Monday and people were all stuck in their cubes reading email. People don’t spend as much time Sunday on computers. I hope I am wrong.

Dan,
I’ve been around politics too long. It’s like watching election results — optimistic but guarded. I gave a friend my bet, but I hope he doesn’t publish it if I’m too far off.
Steve wrote on 12/16/07 at 2:54 am :
Roughly $600K in 1.75 hours.
Rick Fisk wrote on 12/16/07 at 3:44 am :
Hillary Clinton donated tonight and some guys over at Ron Paul forums caught it. It is going to be a 200 million dollar day in media exposure.

looks like the world international slave state government is getting worried with all these little ron paul donators, like swarms of little ants each carrying its humble little offering, the spirit of the people is growing, a great spirit of freedom is slowly slouching its way toward the capital of treasonous scum.

Donations & enthusiasm for RP/RP is going to go soft soon as the reality that he is not going to get much over single digits & will lose begins to sink in through the denial fog.
Steve wrote on 12/16/07 at 1:03 pm :
$2.3 million at the halfway mark.
Steve wrote on 12/16/07 at 1:45 pm :
Over $14,000,000 now.
paul wrote on 12/16/07 at 2:51 pm :
Nice!
Going to any “tea party” events in Alabama?
LOL at the Hillary check. What do you think the chances are it’s not a practical joke or a different Hillary Clinton?
She was a Goldwater girl after all…
Fred Mangels wrote on 12/16/07 at 3:24 pm :
Ok. Let me get this straight: Is that “over $14,000,000″ from midnight until now?
Steve wrote on 12/16/07 at 3:24 pm :
Now over $3 million for the day.
Steve wrote on 12/16/07 at 3:25 pm :
Fred, the $14M is quarterly. He just went over $3M for the day.
Fred Mangels wrote on 12/16/07 at 3:38 pm :
Ok. Thanks.
paul wrote on 12/16/07 at 4:28 pm :
Closing in on 15 M already. Definitely bigger than Nov 5.
How about Hillary?
Doug Craig wrote on 12/16/07 at 4:32 pm :
Does anyone know how much Ron Paul has on hand? Also does anyone know what is the first state in the primaries that has a sore loser law?
paul wrote on 12/16/07 at 4:58 pm :
Over 15 M! Rock On!
Doug - interesting question. Richard Winger has said that sore loser laws don’t apply to pres. candidates because technically we actually vote for electors.
George Phillies has disputed that assessment on LP Mass yahoo group. I’m investigating further.

Now that opposing abortion, immigration, separation of church and state and the like are considered “libertarian” I’m dropping out. After 30 years I’m ashamed to call myself a libertarian as the Rockwellian cult mesmerizes libertarians into some sort of fringe Right position. Shame on you all.
Rick Fisk wrote on 12/17/07 at 12:35 am :
Hillary’s one-day record was just smashed and there’s about 25 minutes to go.
Doug Craig wrote on 12/17/07 at 12:43 am :
does it end EST or left coast time
Steve wrote on 12/17/07 at 12:44 am :
Just got back home and we’re almost at $6M.
Steve wrote on 12/17/07 at 12:45 am :
Should be EST, Doug.
Doug Craig wrote on 12/17/07 at 12:53 am :
justed pasted 6 million
Steve wrote on 12/17/07 at 1:08 am :
$17,574,001.46 at midnight EST by my system clock. I’m not sure what exact time (system and server times vary a bit) the “official” count will be, but $6M in one day is a great haul.
Congrats to Ron Paul supporters out there.

They aren’t. But are those the only issues that matter? I’m thinking Ron Paul is a pretty good bet when you look at the big picture.
paul wrote on 12/17/07 at 1:23 am :
Should be EST, Doug.
True, but a lot of people out west don’t know that, so keep it on the low.
It’s still rolling in @ 17.95 m right now.
paul wrote on 12/17/07 at 1:24 am :

There is also a possibility that the Ron Paul Blimp will be flying over Times Square in NYC on New Year’s Eve! Imagine how many millions of people would see the blimp on their tv’s if that happened!
