Third place among normal likely Republican voters with land lines is pretty good. Granted, there’s a big gap between 26 and 14, but NH has about 50% independent voters, way more than Iowa, and Ron Paul was #1 among independents in Iowa.
Also, Ron Paul is one of only three candidates to advertise in Wyoming, so we’ll see if he has a good showing there tonight as well as in the ABC debate.
Fox still won’t budge, but now NHGOP has pulled their sponsorship of the FOX faux forum.
And presumably there won’t be a screwup on get out the vote and precinct watch in NH.
Second is conceivable but still seems like a long shot as of right now, but things can change fast.
